

Inês Sampaio is a Portuguese-Angolan award-nominee actress and musician
based in the Midlands, Uk. She studied for 10 years at the Classical Music Conservatoire in Portugal, where she completed grade 8 in piano, music theory and music composition.
She subsequently moved to England in 2012 to attend East15 Acting School and graduated in 2015 with a 1:1 in BA World Performance. During her training she found a passion for clowning and physical theatre and after receiving a Develop Your Creative Practice grant from Arts Council England, she spent time training Le Coque and Gaulier based methodologies which has shaped her unique, hypnotic and captivating performance style.
With endless creativity and a strong passion for art that is for all, Inês has been awarded multiple grants from ACE and other prestigious institutions to create her own work as a theatre maker and performer that involves the community. As well as an experienced clown, actress and musician, Inês is also a prolific musician, (piano, accordion, handpan, double bass, ukulele, singer, percussionist), a composer and music director.
